Todd H. Gardner

As the CEO of TrackJS and Request Metrics, web analytics, monitoring, and observability companies, Todd helps small and medium-sized businesses get visibility into how their systems operate in the hands of their users. He solves business problems with software, and is passionate about building maintainable and debuggable systems.

In his free time, he’s an amateur weightlifter, traveling, and hosting a developer comedy show called PubConf. He lives in Stillwater Minnesota, one of the best small towns in America, with his wife and daughters and his rescue dog Stella.

Connor Temple

Connor Temple is a University of Wisconsin Eau Claire graduate, and has worked at JAMF for eight years. He is a Senior Software Engineer for them, currently working on a frontend development team that specializes in building reusable components utilized across multiple product platforms. With a background in Research and Development, he specializes in quickly delivering working prototypes to consumers.

John Urberg leads the architecture team at Lifetouch. He has over 30 years of experience in the software development profession.



Andrew Kirchman

Andrew Kirchman is a lead software engineer at Thomson Reuters with a dozen years of experience working with a wide variety of programming languages. He’s been involved with the college recruiting process at Thomson Reuters since shortly after joining the company. In his free time, Andrew enjoys spending time in nature, biking, and playing string bass in a local orchestra.

Brian Hogan is a technical content expert, educator, software developer, and author of 13 technical books. He currently leads documentation at Tailscale and has run content programs at Temporal and DigitalOcean.

Doug Rhoten

Doug Rhoten is a customer-obsessed product leader who turned to the dark side after 20 years as a software engineer. At Ford Motor Company, he leads the product strategy for improving the experience of software updates for both B2C and B2B customers. The founder of the Chippewa Valley Code and Developers Group, he finally has more time for downhill skiing and sailing now that Dan Kraft is running things.



Wesley Larrabee

I currently teach Automation Engineering Technology at CVTC. Prior to my teaching career, I gained experience as an Electrical Engineer and Programmer/Analyst. I am a graduate of the Computer and Electrical Engineering program at UW-Stout, where I contributed to research projects focused on IIoT and autonomous systems. Throughout my career, I have worked on a diverse range of projects, from web applications to embedded systems. I take great pleasure in sharing my knowledge with others, as it also helps deepen my own understanding of the topics.

Cory LaNou

Cory LaNou a full stack technologist who has specialized in start-ups for the last 20 years. Cory has started several technology companies over the years, including companies such as Pulsity, a web consulting firm in the late 90’s. From that company, Local Launch, an internet marketing technology company was formed and sold to RH Donnelly in 2006.

Cory has deep experience in the Go world, having worked on the Core engineering team that contributes to InfluxDB, a highly scalable, distributed time series database written in Go. Cory has worked on several other Go projects with a focus on profiling and optimizing applications, using advanced profiling concepts such as torch graphs and tracing profiles.

Cory has deep ties to the Go community, having started one of the very first Go meetups in the world, Denver Gophers, as well as assisting in the very first GopherCon. Cory has created and led numerous Go workshops and training courses. He has several published online articles related to Go. Cory also helps lead and organize several community technology meetups and mentors new developers. Cory is also a partner at Gopher Guides, the industry leader for Go training and conferences.

When Cory isn’t working on writing new Go training material, he volunteers his time helping local entrepreneurs start up their own businesses by offering free business advice and services, such as incorporating their business, getting their web presence set up, and giving them the morale support they need to make their dreams a reality.
