Baskin I. Tapkan, Magenic
Baskin Tapkan is a software architect/developer focusing on software design, development, and database systems development/administration. Baskin recently joined Magenic Technologies as a consultant, previously he worked as a Software Systems Design Engineer with Imation Corporation. He has over ten years of experience with software development, agile methodologies, use cases, requirements, estimation, prototyping, and development. He has been working on .NET technologies since 2002, programming in VB.NET and C# using SQL Server and Oracle databases. He has a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wyoming, and holds MCSE and MCDBA certifications. Baskin enjoys seasonal board sports such as windsurfing and snowboarding as well as biking on the local trails.

Chris Williams, Magenic
Chris Williams is a Technology Evangelist for Magenic. He is the founder of several .NET User Groups on the east coast, and most recently the Twin Cities XNA User Group and Twin Cities Developers Guild, both in Minneapolis, MN. He is a rabid blogger at BlogusMaximus.net, author of the very popular NINE Questions series and owner of the VB Community site www.ILoveVB.net. His most recent project is the Charity Fragathon, a fundraiser event for Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota.
He's also a Visual Basic .NET MVP, MCT, MCSD (.NET) Early Adopter,
MCAD, freelance game developer, occasional author, tech editor, code
camp & user group speaker, vintage arcade game collector and plays
a pretty mean guitar in Rock Band. The rumors are true, he loves Visual
Basic so much he even named his dog VB.

Dave Bost is a Developer Evangelist with Microsoft and co-host of the
Thirsty Developer Podcast. Dave has been a Software Developer and
Solution Architect for over 15-years. Prior to joining Microsoft, Dave
cut his technical teeth working with many Fortune-500 companies as a
technical mentor and consultant.

Dave Dalsveen, Chippewa Valley Technical College
Dave Dalsveen is an instructor at Chippewa Valley Technical College where he teaches C++, Java, AJAX, and Visual Basic. He also works as a software consultant part time. Recent projects in which he was involved were a custom web server written in Java and a database conversion project written in Java. In a past life, Dave worked for Cray research, SGI, and Silicon Logic Engineering writing database applications and various computer models in Java and C. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from UW-Madison, and a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from National Technological University.

George Andrews is lead consultant for Capable Media, an Internet Marketing and Search Engine Optimization company based in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. His experience includes working with AJAX, JavaScript, and PHP in the LAMP environment, and he also works as a Java Programmer for Great Lakes Higher Education.

Ryan is a SharePoint Service Line Manager and evangelist at Solutia Consulting in Stillwater, MN. Ryan's current focus is building collaborative communities on the MOSS/WSS platform for customers in the Twin Cities and Western Wisconsin. Ryan's background includes over 13 years of building solutions in technologies including VB, C#, and Java for companies in the US and Canada. Scott Ostercamp & Héctor Aybar, 3M
Hector (Tito) Aybar joined 3M in June of 2006 as a software engineer. He works within the corporate research lab located in 3M's headquarters in St. Paul, MN. Hector specializes in User Interface development and graphic design. His passion is to create software that works well and looks great. He has worked with various tools and technologies including Windows Forms, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Microsoft Silverlight, Adobe Flash, Adobe Flex, Microsoft Expression Suite, Adobe Creative Suite and OpenGL. He is also a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP). Hector is currently primarily focused on WPF and Silverlight development using Visual Studio and Microsoft Expression Suite.
Scott joined 3M in 2005 as a software engineer at their corporate research lab in St. Paul, MN. Scott has been a software developer for over 5 years and before joining 3M his main focus was web development. At 3M his main focus is user interface development using WPF and Silverlight but has worked with many Microsoft tools and technologies including Windows Forms, ASP.NET, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Silverlight, Windows Workflow Foundation (WWF), Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and Expression Suite.
